Today, as we joyfully celebrate the heavenly entry of our beloved Mother Carla, the hearts of our candidates overflow with love and gratitude. Though they never had the joy of meeting her in person, her radiant example shines before them, awakening in each one a tender affection and filial trust. With simplicity and devotion, they now lift their voices in a letter of gratitude, accompanied by a sketch drawn by one among them in her honor.
Dearest Mother Carla in heaven,
On this day we turn our hearts to you with deep affection. Though our eyes have never seen you and our hands have never touched yours, we feel close to you through the pages of your life and the stories lovingly shared by our sisters.
Your autobiography has opened for us a window into your soul. In your words, we discover the motherly love that still guides our steps. In your choices, we see the courage to follow God’s will above all. And in the smile so often described by those who walked with you, we sense the tenderness of a true mother who continues to watch over us from heaven.
Mother, we are the daughters of your dream, the fruit of your faith, and the heirs of your charism. Though we never met you, you live within us: in our prayers, in our formation, and in our desire to live the mystery of the Incarnation as you taught. When you were at our age, God called you — and you came to know that your heart was made not for the world, but for Him alone.
On this anniversary, we entrust our journey to you. Intercede for us, so that our formation may be fruitful, our hearts pure, and our lives generous. Teach us, as you once taught the first sisters, to love without measure and to serve without counting the cost.
Until we meet you in eternity, we promise to carry forward your spirit with joy and fidelity. Remain close to us, pray for us, and continue to show us the way of love.
With filial love,
Your little children in formation
